Bankfield Road Barriers

The raised pavement barriers in Bankfield Road to prevent motorists driving into Rockbank and Richland Roads should be erected this August city officials have told Liberal Party Councillors

Townsend Lane Safety Crossing   legal notices in progress

Liberal Party councillors are pressing for work to start on a new crossing across Townsend Lane by its junction with Bishop Road, they have been advised legal notice procedures will be completed in 6 to 8 weeks

Pensions Debate for Liverpool Enterprise Workers

At the city council meeting of 14th July Councillor Steve Radford spoke in favour of a Labour motion urging council appointed directors take steps to ensure 52 building tradesman being TUPEd over to Cobalt be enabled to continue in the Merseyside Superannuation Scheme

This motion was defeated by the ruling Lib Dems ,despite at the national level they have been calling for increased protection and support to final finishing salary schemes, Cllr Steve Radford condemned the neglect of these manual workers as showing class prejudice and double standards by the Lib Dems, whose excessive majority had only inflated their arrogance and negligence
