Liberals demand Public Inquiry as to Boot Estate Fiasco

In a series of letters to the press and a Radio Magic Interview with Pete Price, Liberal Party Councillor Steve Radford outlined why there should be a public inquiry into how the Boot Estate project fell apart:

Critical information as to the drainage scheme not being workable was known 18 months prior to the public report Nov 2002 , why the delay?

Why were opposition councillors routinely witheld information concerning to the estate from 2002 to date ?

Why has the city council refused to discuss progress with the Estates elected Tenants and Residents Steering Group ?

Cllr Steve Radford is urging all residents in the area attend the next Housing Seelct Committee on 17th August at 4.30 in St Georges Hall
