Name the Four Caravan Sites say Liberal Party Councillors:

Whilst the prospect of the Croxteth Country Park being used as a Caravan Park for the Caravan Club is now known , Cllr Steve Radford raising it at an area committee , residents living near the other three prospective sites remain in the dark

So the Liberal Party Group have tabled a formal motion requesting all four sites be named and the merits and disadvantges of each site detailed for public view. So if you think Lib Dems believe in open government watch this space for the next full council meeting Wednesday 8th December

Alcohol Street Ban for Norris Green and Woolton delayed for months because Council did not have the ability to erect street signs :

Yes this was the reality exposed at the Housing and Community Safety committee when Cllr Steve Radford challenged the administration to press ahead with an alcohol street ban for Anfield, Tuebrook and Old Swan.

He was told it could not be done as they were awaiting the outcome of the two pilot schemes

So how had those schemes progressed asked Cllr Radford, they hadn't even started was the reply !!

The pilot schemes agreed last year and funded by the Home Office had not been even launched as the council had forgotten to order the street signs on time!!

Its a shame Lib Dems were not as quick erecting street signs or even repairing light bulbs as they are to rush off to the press to claim credit for government funded intiatives and ideas proposed by the Opposition Councillors
