Just to keep you all posted we have had several telephone conversations with the agents for the current owner of the former Venue Site

The agents have expressed interest in
a) demolishing the current building
b) developing plans for a mixed retail and housing site
The demolition does not require planning permission and we have said we believe this is the best course of action
We have welcomed in principle the concept of the site having retail units in the front with a range of apartments above
We have lobbied the Planning Dept to "seize the opportunity"
We have also arranged to meet the owner and agents on Monday 16th May at 17.00 hours

With new plans and developments at Tynwald Hill and Breckside Park we are seeing real progress in redeveloping Tuebrook and Stoneycroft
