Lib Dems flog off Allotments to aid Builders...
The Lib Dem Councillors at the Culture and Tourism Committee , Monday 20th October ignored an impassioned appeal by Liberal Party Councilor Steve Radford not to sell part of the Marlborough Road Allotments, but wait until the Planning Process had considered all the traffic and leisure implications.
He was supported by the two Labour Councillors, however the Lib Dems ignored their own Clubmoor Councillor and steam rolled the sale.
Tuebrook Liberal Party Councillors are urging all local residents attend the next area committee on Monday 3rd November, 6.30 at the Tuebrook Hope Centre, (Former Brockman Hall), Snaefel Avenue to object to another 81 houses being built. The feeder road leading right onto the worst accident spot in Tuebrook, ie the junction of Marlborough Road and Ellerslie Road, ", its a tragedy in the waiting" commented Steve Radford.
