Tuebrook, Old Swan and Kensington Area Commitee 3rd November...
The area committee next meets on Monday 3rd November at the Hope Centre, rear of St John's Church, Tuebrook in the former Brockman Hall from 6.30 and is open to all residents
Items tabled by Liberal Party Councillors Steve Radford, Hazel Williams and Chris Lenton include:
- Traffic Impact from plans for 81 homes on Marlborough Road Railway Embankment;
- Delay in handing over vacant flats at Muirhead Ave roundabout;
- Need to improve street lighting in Marlborough Rd, Buckingham , Ellerslie, Osborne Roads, Brekside Park and Hampson St/RockyLane area;
- Need to integrate Traffic calming with Football Parking scheme for the Months Roads and Clifton/Alton Road/Dorset Rd area;
- Shortage of single sex secondary school places;
- Need for a children's centre in Anfield/Tuebrook Area in addition to site at Corinthian Ave School, Stoneycroft;
- Repair of Bankfield Road Sandstone Wall;
- Need for H signs to keep driveways clear on the Pinehurst Estate;
- Need for additional alleygates style fencing at sites such as Suburban Road, Bowley Road and Doric Park;
- Need to improve security in Lister Drive/Brainerd Street flats.Local Residents are welcome to attend and raise their own concerns.
