Tuebrook - Planning Applications...

The area Committee on 3rd November will be considering recent applications including:-

Former Laundry Gloucester Road North/September Road, the application for 16 terraced homes with two flats above a parking bay has been welcomed by local Councillors,. The previous apllication for a more intense development of flats was rejected as flats are already in excess supply.

An application for 8 flats at the rear of Sutton Street and on two plots in Brainerd Street is being opposed as the market for flats has proven unstainable, Liberal Party Councillors are urging the small plots be designated for similar terraced homes

A further telecoms mast is being sought at the junction of Queens Drive and Millbank. The Liberal Party fear insufficient effort is being taken to encourage operators to share the current large number of mast sites so far.

All Tuebrook, Stoneycroft, Old Swan, Kensington, Newhsam Park and Fairfield residents are encouraged to attend the meeting which starts at 6.30, in the former Brockman Hall, at the rear of St Johns Church, Tuebrook.
