Planning Committee 18th Nov to hear Millbank Telecom Mast and Brainerd Street Flats applications

The Planning Committee will be meeting in the Town Hall Tuesday 18th Nov to consider the propect of a new Mobile Telecom mast at corner of Millbank and Queens Drive. Liberal Cllrs are opposing on grounds that the council should insist current sites be shared

The application for 8 flats in a two story design on lots at Brainerd Street are being resisted. Cllrs Steve Radford and Chris Lenton are claim that there is already a saturation of flats in the area, many of them long term vacant, such as at Balmoral Court and Oak Leigh
