Suburban Road Flats a Nightmare

Cllr Steve Radford took the local press to inspect the vacant flats at Suburban Road and Lower Breck Road, last Friday

During the hour at least 1 prostitute and client were disturbed from their work. 

 2 Youths covered with scafs across their faces left the site in a rush carrying brown bags

Cllrs Steve Radford,Hazel Williams and Chris Lenton have formally written to The Chief Executive, David Henshaw, asking him to intervene and expedite the return of these flats to habitable use. Only over the last few years has the council left these flats to decay

Local developers Flanaghans have already expressed interest in buying and renovating the flats.

 Cllr Steve Radford went and inspected their work carried out in nearby Richmond Terrace

Proposals for sale are hoped for in the next few weeks as the Publicity wakes up the council in a way reason does not permeate!
