Tribute to Barbara Jackson

It is with deep regret Liberal Members and Clubmoor Residents have heard the sad news that Barbara Jackson passed away on the eve of Christmas

Barbara had been an energetic campaigner in the Larkhill, Clubmoor and Tuebrook Communities for over a decade

She had been the driving force behind the Adshead Larkhill Residents Association.

Barbara had been a very  Liberal Party Candidate in Clubmoor achieveing some every significant results, although in second place

She was probably best known for her close work with the neighbourhood and crime prevention police teams over many years.

Her more recent role had been to act as Secretary to the Tuebrook CitySafe Team

It was her personal wish that her recent illness had remained private over the last few months and therefore the annoucement will come as a greater shock to so many in the community

"I have lost a personal friend and our community has lost a great neighbourhood leader, we will all pray that she will rest in peace and recognise she will be held strong in her Christian Faith, " Cllr Steve Radford

The service will be held at 11.30 , Tuesday 6th January at St Matthews Church (RC), Queens Drive
