Post Office reorganisation in Tuebrook only way to keep viable service
Liberal Party Councillors Steve Radford, Hazel Williams and Chris Lenton have been in dialogue with local post masters and have welcomed the initiative to provide a new Post Office directly in the heart of The Tuebrook main shopping area on West Dery Road, whilst closing local sub-post offices at Lisburn Lane, Green Lane and Lower Breck Road
If we did not support this change ,each of the smaller locailised units would cease to be attractive to retain their current staff let alone attract new managers. We need a new Post OIffcie and with this prime site location will provide a terrific boost to Tuebrook as a shopping area, welcomed The Liberal Party Coucillors.
However Liberals are opposing any closures of sub post offices at Derby Lane and Larkhill which serve densely populated communities in Larkhill/Clubmoor and Stoneycroft, with high proportions of elderly residents
