Appeal for Disabled Parking and Access to City Centre

Liberal Party Councillors have expressed alarm at the problems of representatives of the disabled community not being able to park over the two/three hour duration of council committee meetings

"we fear the situation is getting worse with Citilink hounding disabled motorists as the council has instructed them not to use any discretion in prosecutions. We have asked the Social Care and Health Select Committee look at detail the access issues and parking facilities for disabled people in conjunction with the new city centre traffic zoning plans", Cllr Steve Radford
