Driving Crime Down -Rocky Lane and Month Roads Special Initiative

Whilst Tuebrook benefited from a 21% reduction in house break-ins last year we are not complacement about the need to drive crime down further

As a consequence we have directed WNF monies for the Tuebrook and Stoneycroft ward

£45,000 to purchase extra police patrols particularly at weekend evenings

£30, 000 to upgrade street lighting in Claude Road and Quarry Road

£14,000 to purchase solar lights currently being distributed to residents in the Rocky Lane and Month Roads area. Merseyside Police and City Safe team have also brought a further £10,000 to this project and £2,000 has been donated by Housing

£16,000 has been used to purchase additional training and activities for young people
