The Solar Lights are funded only for Tuebrook ward residents however UVF pens and light timers will be made available to any Liverpool households
As Chairman of the Safer Stronger Communities Panel I have asked for extra efforts to drive down house break-ins across the whole of Liverpool East and in particular in Anfield ad Tuebrook where levels are still too high
We also welcomed special target efforts to tackle gang problems in the Townsend Lane/Breck Road Area where police and the Anti-Social Behaviour Unit have a series of Court Orders
Alleygating progress included recent closure of Rockhouse Thurham Street passageway and street lighting upgrades in Quarry Road and Claude Roads. The alleygate hearing for Bowley Road / Woburn Hill goes to Highways Committee 11th May
The Tuebrook and Stoneycroft Ward Councillors have authorised over £45,000 in additioal pay for police overtime to patrol key hot spots at weekends, more than any other ward allocation, this is complemeted by additional Youth Service Provision and courses
