On Monday the cities Community Safety Scrutiny Panel considered an in-depth analysis of crime across the city .
The Chairman Cllr Steve Radford asked for a follow up plan focussing on key city crime issues and hot spots identified with :Officers’ be requested to follow up in 2/3 months on actions. Theses hot spots were identified by using objective data collated by police and other agencies

Racial Hate Crime Anfield/ Central Riverside Picton Wards The Panel welcomed progress of the Youth Offending Panel and asked for progress report be presented on the action being taken to divert of youngsters away from crime in the L4, L6, L8, L11 and L13 postal districts. 5. LASBU/Merseyside Police/RSL’s to report on progress of anti-social behaviour policies in the Clubmoor, Kirkdale, Anfield, Kensington and Fairfield Everton Wards being the 5 Wards with the highest number of Anti Social Behaviour incidents Stanley Street area (homophobic crime)
